Overall, Chinese students dominated Indian ones in most provinces, except for Alberta. In addition, there were not any Indian pupils studying in Prince Edward Island.
Concerning the highest figures, the proportion of Chinese students studying in New Brunswick was nearly 11.9%, which was roughly 4.9% higher than that of Indian ones. In Nova Scotia, the figures for Chinese and Indian nationals were 10.4% and 6.4%, respectively. Similarly, Chinese students in Quebec accounted for about 8.4%, while that of Indian individuals was 6.1%. Moreover, the percentage of pupils in British Columbia was 10.7% which was over twice as much as that of Indian people ( at 4.7%).
Regarding the remaining groups, the proportions of Chinese students ranged from around 7.5% in Yukon to 6.8% in Manitoba and 6% in Ontario, while the figures for Indian students in all three regions were approximately 2.5% lower than those for Chinese students. In contrast, in Albeta, the share of Chinese students was smaller than Indian pupils (4.2% versus 5.7%).
