The give chart represents the number of wasted plastic in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia from 1995 to 2020.
From an overal perspective, it can be noticed that at the begining of the period North America and Europe had the highest persentage of wasted plastic, while Asia and South America experienced the smallest number of wasted plastic respectively. In contrast, by the end of the given period, Asia saw a significant increase in wasted plastic and reached the highest persentage of all the countries, while South America, Europe and North America saw a small grow throughout the time.
From 1995 to 2000, North america and Europe experienced a slight rise from about 25 and 30 to almost 35 plastics per year, while Asia and South america also got a smal increase from 10 and 20 to arount 15 and 25, respectively. Furthemore, by 2010 Asia reached the biggest number of wasted plastic – from 25 to 70, while Europe and North America slowly climbed only to 60 plastics. South America, on the other hand, slightly went up to about 25 plastics.
From 2015 to 2020, Asia still had the highest amount od wasted plastic and sharply jumped from 80 to 100, meanwhile Europe and North America gradually increased from 60 to aproxementaly 65 and 70 respectively. South America still was the anti-leader of the chart and reached the smallest amount of wasted plastic; it slowly increased from 30 to around 35 plastic per year.
