Overall, the number of teachers in the USA were significantly higher, while the opposite was true in Japan. In addition, the upper secondary in the USA was by far the highest in three categories.
It can be seen that the majority of teachers spent teaching in the USA and Spain. Ranking first was teaching for three categories in the USA was 750, 900 and nearly 1100 respectively. Teaching attracted the second highest hours in Spain, 900 hours for upper secondary followed by 750 and 650 hours for 2 remaining factors.
In contrast, Japan and Iceland attracted lower hours of teaching. In terms of upper secondary, Japan occupied the lowest position in this sector, with 700 hours two times as significant as the figures of Spain and Iceland, and three times lower than that of the USA. Moving onto the hours of teaching in Iceland, the quantity of hours teaching for senior secondary was fairly similar with Spain at 900 hours. While the figures for upper secondary education in Spain are higher than Japan, the number of hours teachers spend teaching primary and lower secondary is greater in Japan.
