Overall, the gas price generally augmented over the period. The highest price was recorded at 3.52 dollars in the last year of period, while the lowest one was 2.27 in 2005
Regarding the first three years, the price predominantly documented a small change. At the start, the gas price registered at 2.27 dollars and it was also the lowest price throughout. Subsequently, we witnessed a sharp increase in the average gas price, noted at 2.57 dollars in 2006 before receding at 2.50 dollars in the next year (2007).
Turning to the remaining years, we saw an exponential growth in gas price, from 2.50 dollars in 2007 to 3.25 in 2008, recorded the second position across 7 years. However, the price of gas substantially dropped by 0.9 dollars in 2009 and then rebounded at 2.78 dollars in 2010. At the end of the period, the price saw a dramatic escalation and reached a peak of 3.52 dollars, also the highest figure over the period
