Overall, throughout the period studied, initially, while swiss’ requirement to chocolate was on its peek, it had decreased gradually until 2001. In addition, the ratio of 2 different countries ( the Philippines and Columbia) increased regularly. Furthermore, the consumption of Australia remained with same numbers.
Focusing on upward trends, initially, each Russian
ate 3.5 kg chocolate in 2001.However, people increased their consumption from 3.5 to 5.5 in this 20-year period. Moreover, in 2001 the rank of these countries was lower but in 2021 the public of Philippines and Columbia expanded their demands to 1kg.
Regarding other regions, there was a declining in Switzerland. In the beginning, surveys show each Swiss ate 9.5 kg chocolate. But after 20 years they consumed a bit lower that was 8.5 kg. Additionally, Austrians’ rate did not change, it was 8 kg in both in the beginning and end the chart shows same results.
