The bar chart compares the ranking of ten different countries considering their production and conservation of electricity in the given year of 2014, measured by billion KWh.
It is clear that China was ranked at the top for the highest amount of electricity production and consumption. By contrast, Korea, Rep. was considered as the last among the ten countries.
In China, the power production and consumption was 5,398 billion KWh and 5,322 billion KWh respectively, compared to the United States which was 4,099 billion KWh and 3,866 billion KWh. Russia had almost the same amount of energy production and consumption, 1,057 billion KWh and 1,038 billion KWh. Russia ranked at the third place.
On the other hand, Germany produced less than their consumption of electricity, which was 526.6 billion KWh and 582.5 billion KWh respectively. Meanwhile, Korea, Rep. stood at the tenth place in the ranking as it’s produced energy was 485.1 billion KWh, whereas the consumption was 449.5 billion KWh, nearly 10 times lesser than China.
