Overall, the most people preferred staying in hotel in all given countries albeit to varying degrees compared other accommodations – which showed significant lower figures.

When it comes to self-catering, it was chosen by almost the proportion of people namely at 27% in both. However, the proportions of people who opted for caravan and camping in Wales were slightly higher than that in England with only 4% from 5% to 9% and from 11% to 15%.
As for the rest of the countries, just over 50% and 30% people went for hotel and self-catering in Scotland, respectively. However, caravan and camping were prefered by only 11 and 5 percent of people. People in Northern Ireland, on the other hand, wanted to stay at hotel and caravan with 45 and 30 percent respectively. Both caravan and camping were chosen with just over 10% percentage of people.
