According to the figure, approximately 52% of make drive to work, which is almost 10% more than the 42% of women who do the same. Regarding other purposes, such as visiting towns, banks, running errands and visiting friends, the proportion were all 10% or less for both gender. Notably, the number of men driving for visiting towns and women driving for bank trips was the same, at 9%. However, visiting towns accounted for 2% of females, while trips to banks made up 3% of males. Similarly, men’s errand-running was about 9%, respectively, compared to this for women. There was also a ratio of about 8% of girl’s journeys to visiting friends, which twice the about 4% of man’s trips
