Looking at the information in more detail, there were three purposes namely work,entertainment and day trip in which men were more interested as compared to their women counterpart.To begin with work, males travelled 35000 miles and women travelled 30000 miles for the same purpose which means 5000 miles were more travelled by males. For entertainment, approximately 12000 miles were commuted by women while 15000 miles were recorded for men. The least preferred activity was day trips in which 10000 miles and around 7000 miles were registered for males and females respectively.
Further analysis reveals that women showed more interest in the rest activities. For meeting friends both genders were highly interested, 25000 miles were travelled by women while about 22000 miles were commuted by men, on the other hand , for taking school to children activity, the former accounted for 26500 miles and the later accounted for 25500 miles respectively. Nearly 2500 miles were less travelled by males in comparison to females in shopping activity which demonstrates that women were more shopaholic. It is worth mentioning that the same number of miles were commuted by females for shopping and work purpose.
