The Chart above compares the amount of male & female students who choose their major or research study in some available study fields.
Overall, the male group dominantly has a higher figure than the female group especially in Mathematics, programming, Engineering, and Psychology, except for linguistics study and natural science, which illustrate that the quantity of female students is higher than the male and equal to the male.
On notice, The male group had the highest interest in psychology, natural science, and mathematics making an amount of 200 students. On the other hand, the female group only stood slightly less than 50 in mathematics, which made it the highest gap of all majors with slightly more than 150 choosers. But the comparison does not stop there, there are programming and engineering majors with both male groups having equal figures at 150 and the female group just around half of the male figures. and the least gap is shown by psychology with the female group almost equal to the male group at 200.
However, not all field was dominated by male students there were natural sciences and linguistics studies, in which the female group stood equal to the male in natural sciences at 200 and even passed the male group in linguistics studies at slightly over 100.
