The bar chart illustrates the number of research students studying various subjects in 2005. Overall, we can see the male students had the highest amount of number in all the subjects than female except one subject. On the other hand, female students studied in two subjects which were quiet higher than their other subjects numbers.
At first, the number at male students in psychology, natural science and mathematics were the highest, which was 200 in number. Also, the number of male students in engineering and programming were similar to 150. However, in linguistics there number was under 100, which was around 80
On the other hand, the female students number was quiet equal with the male students in natural science and just 50 persons less than male students in phycology. In linguistics, they were approximately 110 students. It’s also noticeable in the chart that the amount of last students in last three subjects were decreased drastically. In engineering, programming and mathematics the number were around 90, 75 and just under 50 respectively. It’s also noticeable that the numbers in Mathematics, females were so lower than males
