The bar chart demostrates what kind of subject at university was chosen by students in 2005.

Overall, it is clear that the most females preferred social sciences, while the most men picked sciences. Moreover, the number of males who chose law was twice higher compared to females. Notably, humanities was selected equally by both genders.

In 2005, the most of male students selected sciences subject in college, with 22.000 . Another subject which illustrated huge number of students chose mathematices with 18.000 . In addition the figure for applications by men for literature and social sciences showed almost the same quantity, the former one comprised 16.000 and latter was 14.000.

According to chart, the social sciences was selected by most females, accounting for 24.000 . By contrast, females selected languages 4 times more than males, with 17.000 and 2.000, respectively.
