The bar chart illustrates the proportion of households in a European country with access to internet under three different income catergories: low ,mid and high between 2005 and 2010.
Overall, there is a gradual increasing trend in the proportion of households with internet access for each income catergory during this six year period.The highest proportion of households with internet facility were from high income catergory as opposed to the low income catergory in all six years.
With regard to the high income households, all of them had internet access in 2010,which was over double the figure in 2005 depicting a significant increment.
The initial proportion of low income households which was over 20% gradually increased to almost 70% by the end of 2010.For the middle income intial propotion of nealy 40% rose to nearly 90% by the end of 2010.
Further, the change in proportions of the three income levels for all those years stayed relatively constant .
