Overall, the three income group saw a gradual increase in their incomes, with the highest increase in the high-income groups. The high-income groups have reached a 100% increase in income over the period of five years. Likewise, the middle-income groups saw a shift too reaching just a point below high-income group. In contrast, low-income groups saw a slow rise reaching only 60% until 2010.
In 2005, low-income group were around 20%. This figure rose to 50% in the year 2008 and ultimately reached a maximum of 60% in 2010. There was a ten-point rise in two years. Middle-income groups on the other hand, had 40% people in 2005. It kept on rising over the years and reached 80% in 2009 and then a further ten point rise till 2010. High-income groups saw the highest percentage increase where 100% of the households have high income.
