In terms of overall rate of finding employment, programming stood out as the dominant subject in this category, whereas art had the least opportunity to get a job. It is also clear that, except science subjects, chances for work witnessed a falling trend during a decade.
In 1995, computer science was the most popular option to obtain work among graduates, reaching approximately 87% and in 2005, it reached a peak of roughly 90%, becoming the dominant pattern. Conversely, art subjects were the worst way to find employment among seven studies in 1991, standing at about 53%, after which it experienced a gradual decrease and hit a low of under 40% by the conclusion of the period.
Science subjects mirrored a similar pattern, like computer science, increasing from 57% to 66% between 1995 and 2005. Although law and business offered a good chance for students to find a job in an initial year, they saw a declining trend until at the end of the period, standing at 61% and 59% respectively in the final year. Similarly, engineering (77%) and teaching (71%) experienced a downward trend and in 2005, they involved 63% and 67% of students respectively.
