Overall, Computer Science recorded the highest employment rates in both years, while Arts consistently had the lowest figures. In addition, most subjects experienced a decline in employment rates between 1995 and 2005, although Science showed a slight increase and Teaching remained relatively stable.
In 1995, approximately 90% of Computer Science graduates found jobs within six months, making it the most successful field. Business and Law followed closely, with employment rates of around 85% and 87% respectively. Engineering and Teaching also performed well, at roughly 78% and 73%. By contrast, Science accounted for only about 65%, while Arts had the lowest percentage at approximately 55%.
Ten years later, the figures for several faculties had fallen noticeably. Employment among Business and Law graduates dropped significantly to around 60%. Engineering also declined moderately from about 78% to 65%, whereas Arts decreased to roughly 45%. Meanwhile, Teaching remained almost unchanged at just above 70%. Interestingly, Science was the only subject to experience a slight rise, increasing from around 65% to nearly 70%. Computer Science, despite a minor increase to approximately 95%, continued to rank first among all disciplines.
