The chart outlines the comparison the percentage of period in Australia parents spent helping their kids with four activities in 2013. Overall, in dressing, mothers were dominating showing over 70 % while fathers had its lowest proportion. In contrast, fathers were helping more in playing games with their children that constituted 70 %.
In the given chart, mothers were showing their peak by 70 % while the lowest one had both category, approximately 5 %. Regarding to homework, figure of mothers slightly decreased by 10 %. Whereas, the difference of fathers was far the highest from mothers with 30 %. However, fathers spent more time helping to children in playing games which remained the same top proportion as mothers in dressing. However, mothers at that time comprised over 25 %. Thus, preparing for beds parents almost remained the same result with short difference by 5 %.
Regarding the time spent by both parents to assist their children, doing homework with their children was the most popular, at 10%. Time spent on dressing and playing games were almost similar, constituting around 5%. As for preparing beds, both parents spent less than 5% of their time.
