Overall, the dominant position took IT specialisation. Whereas, the least popular industry which had the lowest percentage was Manufacturing. One noticeable feature is that more employees’ preferences were given to professions connected with economics and computers.
Comparing figures, Healthcare was slightly higher than Manufacturing, at 20% and 15%. The values between 40 and 50 percentages accounted for Education, which significantly decreased among other industries over 60%.
It’s worth mentioning that IT, about 78%, Finance, at 65%, and Marketing, at 60% had an upward trend for employees working remotely.
In general, workers working from home more commonly choose fields which require less communication with humans.
