The given bar chart compares four countries -namely Canada, UK, The USA and Germany – in terms of the amount of tea and coffee imported in 2007. The units are given in tonnes.
Overall, UK had highest rates in import of tea, whereas Canada was the least amount. It is also worth mentioning that coffee imported significantly more in Canada, while UK imported relatively less coffee across all four countries.
Focusing on the import of tea, UK came out on top with staggering 160,000 tonnes which was followed by USA with a 120,000 tonnes. Germany allocated at 40,000 tonnes on this category which was double that of Canada where 20,000 tonnes of tea were imported.
Regarding the coffee imports, Canada stood at the forefront with a whopping 80,000 tonnes. Germany folowed with approximately 50,000 tonnes of the coffee compared to USA with 40,000 tonnes. In contrast, UK amounted to 20,000 tonnes on this category.
