The chart compares the percentage of boys and girls in the UK visiting four different places in 2000, namely The US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Overall, it can be seen clearly that the percentage of boys visiting the US and Canada was higher than that of girls. In contrast, the percentage of girls visiting Australia and New Zealand was higher than the figure for boys.
The percentage of boys visiting the US was about 56%, while the figure for girls was just over 50%. Similarly, the percentage of boys visiting Canada was nearly 40% compared to about 26% for girls.
In contrast, the percentage of girls visiting Australia was around 30%, while the figure for boys was just about 15%. Likewise, the percentage of girls visiting New Zealand was approximately 15% compared to nearly 10% for boys.
