Overall, the proportion of renewable energy of the total supply in Norway and Germany constantly grew in all three years while there were fluctuations in Australa and Iceland. Furthermore, the percentage of renewable energy of Norway total supply was highest one compared others, whereas Australia’s renewable energy was the least one.
With regards to Norway, the percent of renewable energy of total supply was around 62% in 2000. Then, there was a 3% growth in 2004, before, it soared to around 80% in 2007. Germany’s percent of renewable energy of overall supply was nearly 12% in 2000. Similarly, There was around 3% rise in 2004 like Norway. Next, It reached 18% in 2007.
Moving to Iceland, its proportion og total supply was around 50% in 2000, before it hit it’s peak (60%) in 2004. In 2007, it dropped by 5%. Likewise, Australia’s renewable energy fluctuated like Iceland’s. The percentages of renewable energy of total supply were 8%, 10%, 9% in 2000, 2004, and 2007 respectively.
