In 2000, the renewable sources in Norway stood at 60%, before rising to around 64% after 4 years and reached the 2007 peak of 80%. Similarly, Iceland was the second country, having highest energy supplement with around 50% in 2000. Having gone up to just under the 60% by 2004, it started to decrease by approximately 5%.
In contrast, Australia and Germany had the lower levels of renewable resources throughout the period. Renewable power of Australia was roughly 9%. After 7 years, it returned to the same proportion with reaching 10% in 2004. Renewable sources in Germany saw very small increase between around 10% and 17% throughout the given period.
