Overall, it is apparent that the percentage of energy supply in Germany and Norway showed an upward trend , while Iceland and Australia experienced a slight fluctuation . Moreover, Norway is the leading country in terms of energy supply over the entire period.
In 2000, Norway provided slightly over 60% , became the leading country , followed closely by Iceland , at over 50%. In contrast , Germany accounted for around 10% which was slightly higher than Australia , with slightly under 10%.
After increasing marginally , Norway still ranked first and ended with nearly 80% energy supply . A similar change , but to a lesser extent , could be observed in Germany when it edged up slightly from well over 10% to 15% by the end of the period. By contrast , despite a gentle rise to 10% , Australia witnessed a slight fall in 2007. Similarly , Iceland decreased from nearly 60% to around 52% by the end of the period .
