It is noticeable that the highest percentage of males was on football, while that of females was on cycling. Except for cycling, the four other activities witnessed the large difference between men and women.
40% of females participated in cycling when that of men was roughly 35% in 2015. The difference was more clear in swimming, while roughly 35% was the proportion for women taking part in this exercise, only 20% of men doing the same.
When it comes to three other sports, the percentage of men playing football was beyond 50%, which is much higher than that of women (roughly 15%). In basketball, 11% of females were taking part in this kind of activity, 3 times lower than the percentage of men playing this sport. The difference was also witnessed in hockey when 11% and approximately 5% of males and females played this sport.
