The chart compares how parents in a country spend time to take care of their kids in the evenings in 2022.
Overall, mothers dominated among all figures, whereas was true for fathers. Women mainly allocated their time to dressing, while fathers helped with homework. Both parents spent numerous time to playing games in the evenings.
Dressing comprised of around 73 % of time women took care of their children, ranking higher than doing homework at 50%, followed distantly by playing games and preparing for bed with around 28% and above 40%. By contrast, doing homework was a popular activity at 10% for fathers, while they had lowest proportion in dressing activity with around 2%. Spending time on playing games (around 3%) as much as preparing for bed (roughly 3%)
In comparison, most parents allocated 70% of their total evening time to playing games with their youngsters. While approximately 40% time of parents spent to preparing for bed had followed closely by both dressing and doing homework with around 27% and just below under 40% respectively.
