Notably, total revenue in Europe marginally grew to its peak in 2004, at 38%, while America bottomed out at 27%. During the latter half of the period, Europe started to decline by 8% in 2006, standing at 30%, equal to that of America, which had a marginal increase of 3%.
Regarding Asia, the country only accounted for 25% of drugs being sold in 2002. This figure showed an upturn until 2006, about two-fold the beginning proportion, at 40%, overtaking that of the two given countries and becoming the leading region in terms of aggregate revenue.
