Overall, the sales proportion of American drug companies have been decreasing until 2004 before it continues to increase in the remaining years. Conversely, the Europe drug companies were increasing while the American companies were decreasing, it also happened in the opposite. However, drug sales in Asia were the only one that increasing throughout the period.
In 2002, 41% of drug across three region was sold by America, continuing to decrease, which was reaching 27% in 2004. Later, it rose until 30% at the end of the period. In contrast, Europe drug sales grow until 4% higher compared to the beginning figure. Subsequently, the number declined 8%, reaching 30% in 2006.
Asian is the only region that rose steadily and dominated the 2006 market. The proportion of medicine sold in 2006 has almost as same as the double of 2002 figure, which was 40% in 2006 and 20% in 2002.
