The huge gender gap was noticed in six categories. Men generally dominated in jobs involving manual labor, while most women were more prevalent in administrative tasks and personal service.
Men dominated outnumber in skilled trades, managers and senior officials, and process, plant and machine operatives, and accounted for 20, more than 15 and more than 10 per cent respectively. Compared to female part of citizens, the largest difference among male workers made up more than 15 percent. As for women, the huge gap was in such categories as sales, customer and personal service, and administrative and secretarial. When the number of women was more than 10 and 20, respectively, the difference was greater – more than 15 percent, just like in the male group.
A more balanced gender distribution was noticed in professional, associate professional and technical, and elementary, where the difference between men and women was less than 5 per cent. The most equal number was among labourers and catering assistance.
