Male workers accounted for a large proportion of workers in five occupations. Skilled trades made up 20% of the workforce, followed by managers and senior officials at 18%. Furthermore, professional occupations constituted 14%, whereas process, plant and machine operatives and elementary occupation comprised the same percentage at 12%.
By contrast, women were predominantly employed in administrative and service-related jobs. The proportion of female workers in administrative and secreterial occupation represented 12%, followed by associate professional and technical at 15%. Meanwhile, personal service accounted for 14%. In addition, sales and customer service ranked last at 12%.
