The given bar chart illustrates how many peole who engaged in five different types of online education activities in 2024. The line graph decribes the number of men and women joining in online education courses over 9-year period starting from 2015.
Overall, the number of women participated in online education activities was higher than men during most of the period. Also notable is that the highest percentage of people is registered for online workshops coures while the opposite was true for others.
Turning to the bar chart, the number of people joining in online workshops was over a third, slightly higher than short online course, at 30%. Following by the figure for distance diploma, standing at a fifth was two times as high as the distance achelor degree courses. Others has the lowest participants among all the given types of courses, at 5%.
Looking at the line graph, both men and women starting at approcimately 100 thousand before 2016. After that, both figures were witnessed a slightly increase, specifically, rising to 150 thousand and 130 thousand participants in women and men respectively. The figure for women rose gradually since 2016, climbing 200,000 participants each 2-year and peaked at 950,000 learners at the end of the period. Additionally, men also grew moderately to 400,000 learners in 2020. The figure for men also had a remarkable rise to nearly 600 thousand in 2022 while there was a minimal upturn of 100,000 at the end of the period.
