Overall, vegetable consumption accounted for the highest number in the three capitals, whereas the amount of fish consumption was the least. Additionally, Germany and France show similar patterns, while Spain recorded noticeably lower figures for all categories.
To begin with, in Germany and France, vegetables were the highest in consumption, at approximately 80 kg and 90 kg, respectively. This was closely followed by Meat in both countries, with figures around 80 kg in Germany and 78 kg in France. In contrast, fish consumption was significantly lower at only about 15 kg in Germany and 25 kg in France.
Regarding Spain, the consumption levels for all three categories were consistently lower than 2 others countries. Vegetables remained the most consumed food, at around 70 kg. Meat was the second most consumed category, with 50 kg, while fish consumption was below 20 kg, slightly higher than Germany, but still below France.
