The bar chart illustrates the amount of electricity that wind power generated in India, Denmark, Germany and the United States between 1985 and 2000. Units are measured in megawatts.
Overall, The USA dominated the amount of generated power until Denmark outraced it in the end of the period. Moreover, the other countries showed an upward Trend. Interestingly, Germany remained the lowest during the years.
Throughout the years, the states was notably the highest at the beginning of the period, starting with 1200 MW in 1985, peaking at more than 1600 MW in 1990. then falling to around 1500 MW in 2000. Conversely, Denmark started the period as the second lowest country with slightly more than 200 MW of energy generated in 1985, then it surged to marginally more than 1600 MW in 2000.
India started as the lowest country in generating power with wind, with only 200 megawatts in 1985, this figure significantly rose to 1200 MW in 2000, taking over Germany’s position as the third place. On the other hand, Germany exhibited a gradual increase in energy generating starting at 400 MW in 1985 and ending with a mere 900 MW, to be the lowest country in 2000.
