The bar graph displays the rate of global YouTube users as of January 2023 by age group.
Overall, the younger people (especially the 25 to 34 age group) have the highest rate among the other ages.
This distribution starts with young people with ages of 18 to 24, who comprise 16 percent of this age group using YouTube across the world. Moreover, there is another group that has exactly the same proportion as the first group of YouTube users, which are between 35 and 44 years old. The highest rate is accounted for by people aged 25 to 34, with about 20 percent.
In addition, it is evident that as people grow older, the usage of YouTube decreases. Almost 12 percent of people at the age of 45 to 54 use YouTube, and this rate is 5 percent lower for people who are 10 years older. However, the oldest range of this distribution, people who are older than 65 years, unexpectedly use YouTube more than the people who are younger and are 55 to 64 years old.
