The illustrated bar graph represents proportion of Global literacy rates by territory and by gender for the year 2024.
Overall, it can be clearly analyzed from the graph that Male has the highest literacy rate whereas Female has the lowest literacy rate. However, Male followed the upward trend while female followed the fluctuation trend.
Getting back to the detail, it can be clearly seen in the graph that Developed Countries has around 91% literacy rates whereas Latin American or Caribbean has about 76% literacy rate of male, likewise, East Asia has approximately 81% educated. Hence, East Asia has more educated male than Caribbean. Moreover, Sub-Saharan Africa has a sharp change which has approximately 35% of illiterate male whereas again slightly change in South Asia which is approximately 71%.
However, The Female of Developed Countries are very educated while it has only about 71% of literacy as compared to others where as Caribbean Females are not educated. Developed Countries it has slightly increased in East Asia. Although South Asia has a huge change which is around 55%.
