The chart compares the number of volunteers and paid workers in different roles in the sports sector of an Australian town in 2015.
Overall, while the number of volunteers in coaching, therapists and other sections were higher than that of paid workers opposite was observed in referees . Notably, the least number of people were on referee for both volunteers and paid.
Focusing on the roles, coaching was the most popular role among volunteers, with over 75 people chose it- significantly higher than the number of paid workers in the same role (45). The difference was also noticeable in other sections, where the number of volunteers was around 58 as opposed to paids’ 48. The role of therapists there was no more difference, with volunteers were 45 and paid workers were less than 5 people.
In contrast, while, the 39 paid workers in referees, the figure for volunteers was a bit lower , at about 32. Number of both volunteers and paid workers was the least in referees.
