The bar chart illustrates how the ratio of Australian male and female workers working hour per week changes over 6 different age groups in 2010.
Overall, in most of the groups women works much more than the men counter part. Both experienced a fluctuating result and 35 to 44 group faced higher difference.
From age group 15 to 24 females graph shows a continuous increase which started just under male percentage to 47.7% but then picked at 45 to 54 age group, where it reached to 53.3%. After that it slightly dropped in next age group to 53% but suddenly it dramatically dropped to 47.1% in 65+ age group.
On the other hand, from the begining males figure was piccked at 15 to 24 age group to 52.8% but then it dramatically dropped to only 47.7% in next age group and continued to decreased until 35 to 44 age group where it faced loweset percentage, which was 39.5%. Surprisingly, this figure begin to increase and rosed to 46.7% in 65+age group, which wasalmost similar to women’s ratio.
