The bar chart illustrates the production of four different kinds of food in one particular state, Australia, in the years of 1995, 2005 and 2015.
Overall, it is clear that, apart from pear production, all fruits production figures increased considerably throughout the given period. Notably, the production of pears was dominant at the beginning of the period, while the reverse was true for peaches.
Looking more closely at the chart, the production of pears was the highest in 1995, with around 130 million kg, while after two decades this rate fell dramatically with just above 80 million kg. However, the peach production experienced a considerable increase throughout the period, commencing with about 38 million kg and culminating in roughly 70 million kg.
When it comes to apples production, however, the figure was just 80 million kg in 1995, before soaring significantly to around 116 million kg and ending the period with just below 120 million kg. In addition, the rate for orange production rose slightly, with roughly 72 million kg in 1995 and ending the period at about 90 million kg in 2015.
