The bar chart compares two genders (males and females) in terms of their enjoying leisure time. Second chart compares two genders in terms of their visiting different places in 2006. Units are measured in percentages.
Overall, the figure for females increased steadily over the period. Despite males’ steady decrease, they were dominant in all given years. The second chart shows males were more interested in three places(pop center, museum and KTV) while cinema and beach were more popular among the females. Of particular note is pop center where the difference between male and female was bigger than other category.
Starting with the females, the figure for females grew steadily over time from 40% to 60%.When it comes to males, the proportion of males fell rapidly from 80% in 1996 to 65% in 2000.
As far as males are concerned, 30% of males compared to 15% of females. With regards to museum, 20% of males was slightly higher than about 16% of femles. 15% of males surpassing females with 3%.
However, females showed a distinct trajectory. When it comes to cinema, 25% of females in comparison with 10% of males. 30% of females surpassing males with 5%.
