The bar graphs illustrate the information collected from the survey regarding people’s car changes and the type of purchased car in 2009. Overall, it is noticeable that most people tend to purchase other cars after a 5-year-or-more period. Additionally, second-hand cars appear to be the most favourable type of car.
It can be seen from the first picture that there are the respective of fivefold and fourfold in the number of people changing their car after 5 years or more and after 3 to 4 years, roughly 50 and 40 peoples in that order, compared to the remaining categories. Conversely, only 5 responders claimed to throw away their old automobiles, while there are only a few people who declared never change, no car or buy a new car yearly.
In terms of the type of car to buy in European countries, there are almost 70% responders purchasing a second-hand car, while 20% people have the tendency in buying a new car, approximately 78 and 20 cars respectively. In addition, solely 10% of customers sometimes purchase a new car or a second-hand car.
