Overall, the area of the forest that have been logged has been increased overtime since 1990 and the amount of the animal that living in the forest has been dwindling since 1998.
In 1990, the forest area of 75000 acres have been logged in Southwest Region. However, in 1995 the amount of area that have been cut down has been increased by a quarter of 1990. The area of the forest in further years still increasing dramatically after that, in 2000 the number gone up exactly a half of 1995 and this number has repeatedly gone up again in 2010 with a half of 2000 data.
The number of forest-dwelling species animal has been dropped over time according to the forest area data. Since 1998, the number of species that living in the forest are at least more than 10 species, except birds that have almost 30 species. However, the number of species have a minor drop in 2002 with 2 species of mammal and 3 species of amphibians vanished, but the birds species might have affected the most reducing from 27 to 15 species within 4 years. Lastly, in 2008 the forest-dwelling still affected by the forest has been gone from the forest, leaving around 10 species each, while mammals species that got affected by the most and reduced to 7 species left in the forest.
