Overall, DVD players, televisions and radios increased their imports over the time, whereas CD players and video recorders imports decreased showing an opposite trend.
Television was the most imported device in both years, with 6.2 millions in 2000 rising to 8.5 by 2006. While CD players stood at 2.1 millions in 2000 to then decreased to 1.7 million in the next six years. Making it the least imported device.
DVD players almost doubled its figures from 3 millions in 2000 to 5.8 millions in 2006, another appliance that rose its imports is radio from 4 millions to more than 5, respectively. In contrast, video recorders imports fell from 6.2 millions in 2000 to just under half in 2006, showing the largest difference between the two years in the same device.
