Overall, there was an increase in the percentage growth in average possession prices in China, while the figures for Algeria and Argentina declined. In addition, China generally had the highest figures throughout the period.
In 2007, the average growth in property prices in Algeria was the highest, starting at about 6%, after which it saw a twofold drop to exactly 3% in 2010. Conversely, the figure for China surged from just 2% in 2007 to over 6% in 2010 to become the highest figure from 2009 onwards.
Regarding the remaining country, in the first year, around 3% was accounted in the figure for Argentina, followed by a significant rise to peak at almost 5% in 2008. After this peak, it plummeted to hit a low of around 1.2% in the next year, with a subsequent increase to approximately 2.3% at the end of the period.
