The bar graph enumerates the figure of sales of four different types of digital games(Mobile Phone Games, Online Games, Console Games, and Handheld Games) in the globe for a period of 6 years from 2000 to 2006. Units are measured in numbers.
Overall, It is conspicuous that the figure of sales of Handheld Games was the highest among other digital games throughout the period, and in the initial years people were not preferring Online games and Mobile phone games, which increased in the later years and became the second and third most preferable game. It is noticeable that the figure of sales of Console games declined throughout the period.
The data suggest that while the figure of sales of Handheld Games increased gradually to nearly $18 billions in 2006 from just below $12 billions in 2000, the quantity of Console game almost halved at the same time from almost $6 billions.
It is crystal clear that the the figure of sales of Online Games jumped dramatically to roughly $8 billions in 2006 from just $1 billion in 2001, exceeding the figure of Mobile Phone Games which had only approximately $6 billions.
