Overall, it is evident that the percentage of production in Asia and Europe shared similar proportions and were the largest percentage in different years, while manufacturing in Rest of the World illustrated the lowest percentage at the beginning of the period. Production in Asia experienced a significant decrease before increasing towards the end, whereas Europe showed a rise then declined. In contrast, rest of the world went up throughout the period except declining gradually in the end.
The total production in Asia stood at approximately 50% in 1840 before declining sharply to exactly 20% in 1920. In contrast, in Europe percentages of productions was at 40 in the beginning, then increased steadily to around 45% in 1880, improving by 5%. Thereafter, it showed a rise reaching a peak of 50% in 1920. By comparison, in Rest of the World manufacturing was lowest at the beginning of the periods , reaching a low peak of only 10%, then it experienced a significant improvement to about 25% in 1880 before increasing to exactly to 30% in 1920.
In 1960, the proportion of products in Asia was at 25% lower than the percentage in both Europe and rest of the World which Europe declined to roughly 38% from 50%,Rest of the World rose from 30% to around 38% . In addition, Asia went up sharply to nearly 45% at the end of the period, while Europe experienced a drop to 28%. By contrast, total manufacturing in Rest of the World fell steadily to 32%.
