The given maps depict the disparity of a park in the year 1980 and the present day.
It is clear that the park has witnessed significant development in terms of recreational space for playing, eating, and seating. Meanwhile, the only subtraction involves the flower areas.
Looking closely at the maps, in order for entering the park in 1980, there were two gates on the west side and north side respectively. However, those are demolished and the path has expanded to the north and the east, separating the park into 4 distinct areas. In the south-west area, the flowers in the year 1980 have been replaced by bush, meanwhile, those benches surrounding the pond are increased.
With regard to new recreational areas, compared to the year 1980, the north-east area has relocated some trees and the size of this has increased for a new recreational space to be added in order for having outdoor eating. Remarkably, those flowers located in the south-east also have transformed into the play ground where children spend time playing.
