The two maps illustrate the layout of a public park in 1980 and its current state.
Overall, the park has undergone major redevelopment, with the removal of entrance gates and flower beds, and the addition of various recreational facilities, such as a playground, a barbecue area, and seating. However, the pond, benches, and trees have remained largely unchanged, preserving parts of the original layout.
In 1980, the park had a relatively simple design. Two gates were located at both the southern and northern ends of the central path, which divided the park vertically. To the east of the path, there was a small pond with a few benches surrounding it. Flower beds were situated near the southern gate, and a group of trees was planted in the northwestern corner, adjacent to the flowers.
At present, significant changes have been made. The entrance gates and flowers have been completely removed. In their place, a children’s playground has been installed in the southeastern section, and a bush area has been added nearby. The northwestern corner, which previously held a few trees, has been expanded and now accommodates a desk, chairs, and a barbecue area, suggesting the space is now used for gatherings or outdoor dining. Despite these changes, the pond and benches in the eastern area have been preserved and remain almost identical to their earlier form.
