The pie charts demonstrate how many people who are aged 23-65 engage in different professions in the rest of the UK and in one town of this called Ashby in 2008.
Overall, the data indicates that personal services and office work were popular jobs among others in Ashby and the UK, while people less engaged in technical work in Ashby and construction work in UK.
In Ashby, the highest percentage – 21% of citizens worked in personal services, whereas the lowest proportion of individuals had a job as workers in technical work. The percentage of people who is employee in professional work was slightly different from technical work, with 8%.
People who worked in office work and construction work made up 18% and 16% respectively. However, the rate of unemployment was 14%.
In the UK, 19% of people engaged in working in office, while citizens who work in construction accounted for 10%, which was similar with the percentage of unemployment. Personal services and technical work made up the similar percentage which is 17%.
