The table below illustrates the production of oil in barriies per day in four countries Nigeria chad, congo and somalia during the period of 2000 to 2004.

Overall, congo showed high production throughout the years whearas chad represent the low production over the period.

If we deeply analyse , Nigeria produced 205,000 barries per day in 2000 which was highly increased in 2004 by 213000. In contrast somalia’s production level was low in 2000 and 2001 with 5000 and 8000 barries per day respectively. In 2002, a significant change can be seen in Somalian oil production which was 21000 barries per day. In 2004 it was increasd by 50,000 barries. Congo was the highly producing oil countries over the time with 275000 in the year 2000 . In 2004 its production became low with 203000 barries per day. On the other hand chad was the least productive country over the years as in 2000 its production was 0 . This trend remained unchanged in 2001 and 2002. But after that there was a slow production can be seen in 2003 with 8000 barriers per day which was increasd by 50,000 in 2004.
