Overall, the international game players was dominated by American countries. It is include the United States of America (USA) and Brazil, holding the first and second rank among all countries. Meanwhile, European countries in general have less player numbers compared to the Americans, with Spain became the bottom of the list.
Looking at the details, the number of players in the USA in 2012 was 85 million of people; represents the highest numbers of video games’ active players globally, with almost double people involved compared to Brazil which held a second position.
Regarding the players from European countries, Germany led the games industry with around 37.5 million people were recorded as the active players, making it as the third-largest games community internationally. The figure was not much different from the UK, showing around 32.7 millions people. While for other countries, including France and Turkey, only covers around 26.7 millions and 22.7 millions of players, respectively.
