Tha bar graph shows information on how families in one country spent their weekly income in 1968 and 2018. Overall, an average weekly spending by families in 1968 and 2018, were mostly in food, followed by leisure, housing, then transportation. While they spent less on clothing and footwares, followed by household and personal goods, then fuel and power came last on their list.
In 1968, Each household spent their weekly income on these top four priorities; first in food(35%), second on housing(10%), next to that are clothing and footwares(10%), then leisure had around 9%. At the same time, the least four on their weekly expensed were household and personal goods, along with transportation. All of this three expenditures had approximately 9%, then fuel and power was the least at around 6%, respectively.
Whereas, in 2018 there have been some changes in households spent proportions, from the most to least expenditures in the past. Leisure, housing, food and transportation became the 4 top expensed among famillies. Leisure increased at around 22%, housing rose to approximately 19%, transportation demands also increased at around 14% while food had declined at approximately 17%. In contrast, the least 4 expenditure provided were household goods(9%) retained their demand. However, personal goods decline to under 5%, clothes and footware(5%) then fuel and power under 5%.
